My Story

During a regular doctor’s visit, something interesting happened. While the doctor was conducting routine tasks like checking my blood pressure, monitoring my breathing, and listening to my heartbeat, he suddenly looked up, paused for a moment, and asked me a surprising question: “Are you a hippie?”

The question caught me off guard. We hadn’t been discussing values or lifestyles, and my appearance didn’t fit the stereotypical image of a hippie. I didn’t have long hair or a beard. This unexpected question led me to a moment of deep thought.

I realized that while I might not look like a traditional hippie, I do embody the spirit of one. I deeply respect freedom, non-violence, and the spread of love among people. I firmly believe that everyone is unique and has their own place and path on this earth. I envision a world where we can live in harmony with people, nature, and the environment. And I believe that achieving this is not as hard as we may think.

So yes, if being a hippie means striving to make the world a better place and finding joy in doing so, then I am indeed a hippie. But more than anything else, I am simply happy. To be more precise, I am someone who finds happiness in embracing these values.
